‘Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal’ – Movie Review

‘Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal’
revolves around Krishna (Jai) who tries to handle his break-up with Divya (Pranitha), taking the help of his 3 best friends. The 3 friends trying to stop the protagonist from his suicide attempts, forms the crux of the film.

‘Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal’ directed by debutant Mahendran Rajamani, has entertaining and boredom moments equally. There are some hilarious scenes right from the beginning till climax, for which the whole theater bursts out in laughter. However, since there isn’t a progressive screenplay, the film stands stagnated at times. Also, more than 40% of the whole film happens within a hotel room itself where the protagonist does not have much to do. Most dialogues in the film that tries to project as if girls are the only reason for love failures and some cheap lines that refers to girls as second hand product did not look good at all.

Jai has done his part fairly in terms of comedy, as like always; his innocent expressions and laughter-evoking dialogue modulations are enjoyable. The ensemble comedy combo of Thambi Ramaiah, Kaali Venkat, Karunakaran, Naveen, ‘Mottai’ Rajendran has worked out very well; every comedian in the film has been utilized properly. The surprise cameo of Santhanam & Anjali were worthily placed too.
